Luke Hayes BSc PgDIP ARB
Luke joined the architects register following an education at The Bartlett (UCL) in London, University for Create Arts in Canterbury and Anglia Ruskin University.
During his 18 years in the industry Luke has worked with award winning architects and consultancies such as Ingleton Wood in London and Orme near Glastonbury.
While at Ingleton Wood Luke led the design side of the architecture discipline.
His team were responsible for delivering projects through the pre-planning and planning process, this included complex refurbishments, new builds, Listed Buildings, Conservation Area and Green Belt developments.
In terms of sectors this includes house extensions & renovations, residential and mixed use developments, education, commercial, hospitality & leisure.
He also consulted on prominent developments across London collaborating with some of the UKs largest design studios.
Away from the work place Luke can be found ferrying his daughter around the south west to play rugby with the Trowbridge RFC Girls Academy. And on occasion and weather permitting he can be found riding one of his vintage bikes. L'Eroica one day.
Funlab was formed in 2020 and has established itself with projects around Frome, Bath and Bristol. The practice has and is working on projects as far afield as London and up to Rutland Water in the east midlands.
Luke has built good connections with a number of consultancies, contractors, land agents and developers to help deliver projects from concept to completion.
